The boss of the herd, loyal and clever, perfect for adventurers who are always on the move.
🏞 Origin & History
The Catalan Shepherd comes straight from the Catalan Pyrenees. A mix between the Bergamasco Shepherd and other local breeds, it was adopted by shepherds to manage and protect flocks. Extremely intelligent and always alert, it has established itself as an exemplary working dog. Today, in addition to being a great herding dog, it is also a loyal, protective, and affectionate companion.
🐕 Breed Profile
Medium but muscular, with long, wavy fur that gives it a wild and stylish look. Its protective instinct is natural, and it loves to work (and play too!). Quite wary of strangers, it transforms into a true bodyguard for its family. And bonus: it barks little, so no noisy drama at home.
